I must admit the concept of trolling is new to me - in my usual naive way I have no comprehension of why anyone would do such a thing! I haven't seen much evidence on airsoft or reenactor forums. Sure, kids and argumentative sorts and the odd equivocator but anyhoo, all done and dusted now...
Trolling and sock puppetry is rife on ASSCOCK.
TBH I've even considered doing it myself on there

Have we officially said in the forum rules that duplicate accounts and sock puppetry are a big no no?

To be honest I'm amazed how long its taken for us to get someone like this on the forum. We had at least 3 or 4 such idiots over at the TLA forums when I helped run it. The number one thing to do is to deal with it quietly and patiently. Don't let the punters know its going on.
I don't see any reason for lists of rules. Its much easier to not tell everyone all the rules. (That's more or less what they do in Law, right? )

Hah!! I wonder how long he thought 'how long?' for before trying to log in as 'phil'. 11 minutes......

Had another email from 'ww2sniper' along the lines of 'hello?'
Nah, 'Goodbye' mate.
He tried to register today under the user name 'ww2airsoft' - different email address and new IP but from the same pool. Email address added to the banned list and application deleted.
Keep an eye out for posts from 'Watk01' please. IP address is from the same IP pool as 'Phil' but doesn't mean it's him.
